Operator and acceptance of terms
HearHere is operated by North Egg Services LLC. By downloading, accessing, or using HearHere, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you use HearHere on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these terms for that organization.
Eligibility, account, and security
You must be legally eligible to use the service under applicable law. You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity that occurs under your account, and you must promptly notify us of any unauthorized access or suspected misuse. We may require identity verification when reasonably necessary to protect accounts or the service.
License to use the service
Subject to your compliance with these terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use HearHere for personal, non-commercial use only. Unless we expressly agree in writing, you may not copy, sell, resell, sublicense, distribute, or otherwise commercially exploit any part of the service.
User content and permissions
You are responsible for the images and other content you upload or submit to HearHere, and you represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to do so. You retain rights in your original user content, but you grant us and the service providers we need to operate HearHere a limited license to host, process, back up, generate guides from, display, and otherwise handle that content for service operation and reliability. You may not upload content that infringes intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
Important notice about AI-generated content
Recognition results, written guides, and spoken guides provided by HearHere are generated content for personal reference and cultural exploration only. They may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or biased. They are not professional authentication, legal advice, educational certification, museum-approved interpretation, valuation advice, or a guarantee of factual accuracy. You remain responsible for deciding whether it is appropriate to rely on any output.
Subscriptions, auto-renewal, and trials
Some features require a paid subscription. Subscription pricing, trials, billing, auto-renewal timing, and payment handling follow Apple App Store rules, with RevenueCat used to help sync access status. Unless you cancel through the platform in accordance with platform rules before the renewal cutoff, subscriptions may renew automatically. Pricing, taxes, and trial eligibility are determined by the platform details shown at the time of purchase.
Cancellation, restore purchases, and refunds
You may cancel through your Apple account settings. Cancellation usually takes effect at the end of the current paid period rather than immediately. Restore purchases and entitlement sync depend on platform and RevenueCat state. Refunds, billing disputes, and payment disputes are generally handled by Apple under its own terms and policies rather than directly by HearHere.
Acceptable use
You may not use HearHere for unlawful, infringing, harassing, fraudulent, subscription-circumvention, scraping, reverse-engineering, automated abuse, access-control bypass, malware distribution, or service-disruption purposes. You also may not use the service to submit or generate content that clearly violates law, infringes rights, or includes sensitive personal information without appropriate permission.
Intellectual property
HearHere, including its software, interface, branding, design, and all content other than user-provided content, is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except for the limited rights expressly granted in these terms, we reserve all rights, title, and interest in and to the service.
Service changes, availability, and experiments
We may modify, update, restrict, suspend, discontinue, sell, transfer, or wind down any part of HearHere at any time, including features, models, pricing, experiments, supported regions, stored content policies, and access methods. We do not guarantee that the service will always be available, error-free, uninterrupted, or that it will achieve any particular recognition quality, guide quality, or generation speed.
Termination and account deletion
We may suspend or terminate access to HearHere if you violate these terms, abuse the service, create security risks, or expose us to legal risk. You may also initiate account deletion inside the app. After termination, deletion, or service discontinuation, access to subscriptions, content, and features may stop immediately or at the end of the current paid period, depending on platform and system status. We may retain and use data after termination to the extent permitted by the Privacy Policy and applicable law.
Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HearHere is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, reliability, or continued availability. We do not guarantee that recognition results, text, audio, archived materials, or subscription sync outcomes will be correct, complete, timely, or continuously available.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of or inability to use HearHere, reliance on generated content, subscription interruption, data loss, service unavailability, service shutdown, or third-party platform conduct. If applicable law does not allow a full exclusion of liability, liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Governing law and updates
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, and any dispute relating to these terms or the service will be subject to the applicable courts and venue in Wyoming, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live. We may update these terms from time to time. Updated terms will be posted in the app or on our website and become effective on the date shown. Your continued use of HearHere after an update means you accept the updated terms.
